Rip-OFF

I signed on through USABG to use IBoomerang. After the fact, found out that IBoomerang is not compatible with some AT&T. After many attempts to fix the problem I withdrew my payment and am now in collections with this bill! The worst is Don Druya USABG knew this problem did in fact exist and has allowed this to happen to yet another. I hope to hear from other iBoomerang users and gather as much information as possible to stop this from happening to others.

BUNCH OF THIEVES AND CROOKS

Anybody considering working with USABG or Iboomerang DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a scheme to steal your money and get the owners and affiliates richer!!! They make you buy this BS online tools that lock you into a contract even if you don't use it or want to cancel, and they DON"T CARE about you and put your hard earned money in their pocket with a smile on their crook faces. They will bill your account nonstop whenever they please to get the money from you. It is true that Iboomerang is owned by a partner of USABG, If this isn't the most corrupt thing I've ever seen than Idk what is.

Ms. White, you were informed that I am no longer with USABG and the ONUS yes the ONUS was on your company to call me to go through the cancelation process. Even after the recent request where you promised to call to go through the cancelation steps, this did not occur. This was YOUR responsibility but should have happened promptly when I suspended your rights to withdraw. You violated banking code. Is your company so desperate for $300 that you continue in this mode. It is pretty shameful in my opinion. So I am waiting for your corporate details so a complaint can be filed accordingly. What state are you located in and I can look up the secretary of state. Michael Louis Here is the statute relative to Senior persons which I am and whichever law is applicable: 1) The Undersigned exercises his unalienable Sovereign Right against [respondents], a legislative entity, and its officers for a redress of grievances (fraud, extortion, theft, plus other noted wrongs) by this verified Criminal Complaint (Florida Criminal Code Sections Chapter 825-103 (*) a; Chapter 839 relating to offenses by public offers and employees; Chapter 831 Forgery (Assignment document); Chapter 895 offences concerning racketeering and illegal debts; Chapter 896 (b) intent to defraud that involves a conspiracy to defraud; Chapter 896(c) intent to permanently deprive a person of his property; Chapter 825.103 (2)(a)If the funds, assets, or property involved in the exploitation of the elderly person or disabled adult is valued at $100,000 or more, the offender commits a felony of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084; 825-104 *(c); (6)  And again, if we keep doing this AGAIN AND AGAIN. Your company is in my opinion based on all the emails that have gone before, have a despicable way of doing business. Your company was informed that I lost my home and most of my possessions and there is no care or concern, just COLLECT what we think we are due, which you are no. One receipt of my email on October 26, 2014 it behooved your company to contact me to cancel once you had been notified that your outfit was no longer authorized and you have violated the banking code. Since October 16, 2014 exactly what services have you provided and what charge were you entitled to once there was no authorization. Or does your company just like to make demands. The onus was on I Boomerang to contact me and go through the steps. Your excuses are unacceptable and this matter will be fully posted on line. Once again, your legal address for process of service is required since, your company is being held for the alleged fraudulent deductions and damages. Your response with the legal address of your outfit. I want to world and insurance people to know just how caring your organization is. Respectfully Michael F Louis Ms. White, you received a copy last week here it is again and was sent on October 26, 2014 at 5:59 PM. If it was not reviewed that is your companies problem not mine. I will call you in the morning to have you reverse this please since there are inadequate funds to withdraw. Michael Louis Your company was well notified on 11/21/14 and you cannot refute the cancelation. Someone should have called me about canceling in your system Demand for credit for three months please Michael Louis PUBLIC NOTICE Dear Ms. White, Thank you for your email. Do you agree you received an email which was sent to your company advising that you were no longer authorized to deduct from my account. Copy sent to you last week. Under CONTRACT law unless refuted, becomes incontestable. So your company has violated me and the law and I will take legal action unless you promptly refund the three months requested.. On receipt of the to suspend all authorization, your company should have called me promptly to go through the steps to cancel. I will contract to your terms and demand a refund from the November email. Issue is not resolved. In my opinion this is a despicable way to run any business.

No customer service. Have lodged a complaint with BBB and waiting to see if iBoomerang will resolve by refunding what is believed to have been stolen from my bank account when they were informed they are no longer authorized.

I will now contact the Florida Dept of Consumer affairs. Thank you.

Original review Mar 11, 2015
After they were informed by email that iBoomerang was no longer authorized to use my debit card in November last year and they ignored my demand. They should have immediately contacted me to work through the problems but just chose to ignore so they could debit my account for over $100 on three occasions. Miss A White was extremely rude informing me that they would hand the matter to collections. No customer service whatsoever. They won't get my business. Only signed for 6 months and their software was removed from my computer. They continued to deduct. Then Miss White said she would send an email explaining how to remove their service. That was over one week ago and she never did. This could be construed as unlawful.

Even if they send you to collections there's nothing they can do to make you pay the supposed debt. They don't have the ability to pursue this unless you're in the state of Ohio.

Even so they just send a wordy threatening letter and that's it.

They don't have enough to actually go on, especially if you already paid your 6months. Just stop payment and don't let them bully you.

Overview of the Company and Products

There's several things that can be said about iBoomerang, it's policies, and the morality of the owner's. Firstly let's start with how you get signed up with iBoomerang to start with. You'll probably be contacted by an agent already in the insurance business that works for a company called USABG. No matter what they say these two companies may be "two separate companies" but they are certainly together on everything. The owner of iBoomerang is Doug Frankel - He works within USABG with the owner Don Duryea. So someone from USABG will more than likely call you to get involved with USABG and ask you to join them. This is perfectly fine if you are capable of selling insurance over the phone and internet. USABG isn't a bad company to work, it's the ethics of the people calling you. At this point if you decide to go with USABG they will instantly sell you on iBoomerang and try to sign you up. The main reason they are doing this - they get a bonus from iBoomerang whoever they sign up- So to them getting you to sign up is the only thing on their mind. While these agents are trying to sign you up the "most common" package is a TWELVE month contract at $99.95 plus a "Set-Up Fee". They discount the set up fee to a lower amount and give you 30 days free assuming you put all the agent who signed you up information correctly. iBoomerang will call you and verify all this with you and the instant you agree you're paying over $1,000. Keep in mind at this point the moment you enter your checking or credit card information you're stuck. If you try to call and cancel within the first 30 days you'll get the run around about how they will help you in your insurance sales or better if you get a different job there's about a $200 early termination fee that you may or may not be offered depending on the Owner's decision. If they feel they can get more money out of you it will be more. If you can't afford or you've fallen ill it's also at their discretion whether or not to let you out of the contract, if they refuse you and you do not pay on your account - they will send you to collections without a blink of an eye. If you decide still this road is for you there's trainings that take a total of two weeks to go through. On top of iBoomerang trainings, USABG has their own trainings you must attend! This is a great resource to learn how to use these tools. I do have to point out at this time these tools aren't actually Iboomerang's tools aside from the email tool. If you look at the "Web Conference Tool" it's actually called GP4 on your desktop-- If you look up GP4 in google it's ran by a company called Gatherplace, so really iBoomerang is buying this tool from them and selling it to you at a more expensive price. Here's the link to gatherplace http://www.gatherplace.com/ -- Notice "The Blue W" Logo? Back to the trainings however, these are great things to listen in on, if you're tech savy, but they take over two weeks for you to learn the tools - it can even take over a month. So that "30 days free" you got is gone in an instant because you're still trying to learn the tools and haven't made any insurance sales. So at this point you haven't made a sale and you just went through your 30 days and had to pay $99.95. Not off to a very good start if you have a tight budget. Going back to the tools themselves you can actually find all of the products offered either free or a much cheaper price. The whole basis of having these "Tools" is utilizing them so you can keep all your information as well as talk to your clients without having to travel all over. If you are selling online then why would you pay for something you can find for free that works just as well? That alone would save you expenses right? We covered the web tool not being their own, and as far as the Database tool it doesn't work for everyone the same way. If and when you call in to get help on fixing it no one is quite sure how to. This lays more suspicion that this is also not their own tool, i haven't looked into it yet. Which if you do have issues with your database it could take over a week for them to attempt to fix it. The email tool is their own creation and this also needs a lot of work but the issues are very in depth and would take a lot of time to explain, just know the functionality isn't where it should be for paying $99.95 a month. Now let's get into the billing and administration- Their billing system has so many issues your billing date can be changed without you knowing it or knowing why, you can be double charged, or you can even be billed after cancelling. If this happens and it returns or you can't pay that month then guess what - you'll be charged $35 in USABG as well causing you even more financial stress. See, they may be "two separate companies" but they are pretty tangled together. Actually if you look at the bottom of your USABG website it says "powered by iBoomerang." So what happens when you call in? First you'll get the run around, usually it can be fixed in a timely manner from the initial employees but if you have an issue that needs to go to the owners it could take days, even weeks for them to get back to you. They are never in the office when you call, if they are they ignore your phone calls, and if you had to submit a ticket you don't get an answer for several days. Why exactly does this happen? On very many occasions you will hear "they're out of town" or "They are away from the office", so these owners are out vacationing while your money is being taken, sometimes without authorization. Unless you bring in a lot of money to either USABG or iBoomerang, the owners don't care about you. They are concerned about the big fish and who can take them to higher places. While I will say there are employees that are concerned for your well being none of them are in a position to help you. Which comes to effect as well you will more than likely speak to the same people over several times, the company is not a large company it maybe has 10 employees in total. Don't be fooled by the photo shopped building with a boomerang on it that's pasted on their website. So your term is up and you finally get to cancel. This isn't done by calling in, you have to log into your iBoomerang account and do it from there. If you don't they will continue to bill you until you complete this. So what was a 12 month contract could continue for a very long time if you let it. There is no stopping billing on their side. If you don't cancel before your billing date you will be charged. That's a major issue, they claim they need 3 days to cancel your account for billing purposes when really they want time to have someone call you and ask why you're leaving and try to get you on for "a lower price" with no contract. This can be a nice gesture but sometimes you need to learn when to let go. Overall I would say this is not the best route for you to take. There's plenty of options out there for FREE that do not cause this much of a headache. The owner, if you ever have to speak or listen to him, is very condescending and has a superiority complex that is beyond words to describe. The Vice President - which is the owner's wife - is not much better than he though she is the lesser of two evils. Consider your options, check your financials, and decide if you are computer savy enough to even navigate these programs they offer. This company is not something to jump into on hopes to get rich quick.

Try and get someone who make the program work without having to update JAVA, this is a good concept, but in a world where about 40-50% of your potential customers have almost zero computer skills, or never even have a computer, this is "Pie in the Sky" hype to get agents to agree to a 12 MONTH contract. Avoid at ALL COSTS

Guest

I'm about to tell you the straight *** about iBoomerang, these are the things they don't want you to know but that you as a consumer deserve to know.

iBoomerang is run by Doug Frankel, Doug Frankel is a divisional manager of USABG, it is in his best interest to get all new USABG agents signed up with iBoomerang tools.

It is almost forced upon all new USABG agents to get the 12 month gold package because it directly profits Doug Frankel and all the managers who sign up new users get a bonus for signing you up. Keep this in mind: the manager will profit if you succeed, but they'll still profit some even if you do NOT succeed as an agent, they're signing you up for iBoomerang for a small bonus, they don't actually care if you do well. The process of trying to leave your contract with iBoomerang goes as follows:

If you're within the first 30 days they'll let you go if you pay the remains of your setup fee and your first month's payment.

If you're after 30 days they'll want 1/3rd of what you owe them which they will break up into payment plans for you.

They do not care if you are ill, in a financial crisis, or if you are getting out of the insurance business. If you do not pay them you will go to collections.

You may get the run around, you may have a nice lady call you and try you "help you with your training" but eventually if you insist you will get a buyout offer, it is very rare a customer is refused a buyout unless you directly offend Doug Frankel or his Wife Kathy Frankel.

Now for the good news. I implore you, don't sign up for iBoomerang tools since you can get all their tools online for free already, here are all their tools and their free counterparts online:

Web conference tool - Free alternatives: Skype, join.me

Email Template tool - Free alternative: mailchimp.com

Cheaper Alternatives: jangomail.com, bravemailer.com

Branded Website - Free and much better alternative: wix.com

Contact Management tool - Free alternatives: contactme.com, google contact manager

This is just to name a very few programs that do what iBoomerang's products do. iBoomerang essentially signs you up for a 1200.00 12 month contract for applications it did not develop and that rarely work correctly.

This product is in fact part of what many consider to be a scam, it's just one more outlet to get money from you as you try to be an online insurance salesman. If you want to sell online with USABG, that is one thing, but do not bother with iBoomerang as their tools and support are broken and much better alternatives can be found elsewhere.

What a bad deal this is for any new agent in the insurance field. A few select people have all the success and glory and are praised and rewarded each week with the company.

Of course the push all new hires to get the GOLD Package. I hope everyone reads your article and understands what a mistake it is to join USABG.

IBoomerang and USABG has been nothing but great for me....

I read the complaint on IBoomerang and I guess maybe the person complaining did not go through the offered training. I guess it is impossible to please everyone. All the agents I know love it !! I found it to be amazing and It is clearly what helps me to make the money I do working at USABG. I am in a high six figure income for the first time in my life. I found this firm to have the best virtual system in the industry after a lot of research and now three years of being here. I was also hired into their Signature Level Agent Position (which is the highest level agent they have) and I have nothing but positive things to say about the position and training for that position. I love my job and my career here and hope to be here a very long time.

IBoomerang has issues with AT&T! Doug F.

and Don D. are both aware of yet money speaks before ethics!

I singed to USABG & iBoomerng as a sig agent only to find their system is incompatible with AT&T in KS. This was admitted to my by Peggy at iBoomerang.

For 30 days we tried to fix this problem but to no resolve. Don Druya knew this problem existed, yet now holds me hostage for $1385.00 in collections.

Reading these complaints I find I am not the only one to run into this problem, yet still I am hostage. There are ethics that need to be considered here!

Michael Rte

Doug Frankel is a Thief!

Hey Agent, I signed on to IBoom thru USABG only to find they are not compatible with AT&T in my area. Mr.

Druya informed me he is aware of the problem, yet I am now in collections by iBoom.

Mr. Druya in not a fair person!

This review is fake. Doug Frankel cares a LOT about appearances, he regularly has his very few employees or his nephew try to write fake reviews to make things look better.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-871441

This is true, as an ex employee, Doug would have employees try put positive feedback on post. He also changed the terms of agreement to contracts so they wouldn't have a loop hole to cancel and would be stuck paying.

He did this without notifying the customers. If you didn't have the original printed out, you wouldn't have a case.

Plus if the customer did some research they would have seen that most of the tools iboom used were 3rd party vender, and you could have got them for free if you went direct to that vender. Worst company I ever worked for.

Guest

First - there isn't one complaint on here that says anything about not being able to use the tools or not going through the training, where did you get this accusation from? It's great you make "a high six figure income" for USABG but this doesn't say anything about Iboomerang or their "products".

What tools do you use? What package did you have? Are you referring to Iboomerang training or USABG training? To be honest it sounds more like you're pitching for USABG, which is fine, than Iboomerang.

This almost sounds like a paid review.

The majority of reviews - aside from the ones that describe the company - are from having issues with billing, cancellations, and the false pretense that they created their own tools.

Poor training, then you can't cancel !

Their web tools are THEORETICALLY great. But unfortunately their training sucks, and part of their web site is in SPANISH. This backs up something someone else said about "this software does not belong to iBoomerang," because it explains why they can't train in it, and can't fix very obvious problems. But the biggest problem (after you've found out you've committed to 12 months of $99 payments, and they WILL NOT let you cancel early, even when you show them their site isn't what they claimed it to be), is that their cancellation process is shady. They confirmed that I sent them an email saying "Please cancel all services," but then they wanted a confirmation number and a "Ticket Number." I gave them the cancellation number, but they claimed it was for only a "downgrade". And then they admitted there is no "downgrade" from the level of service I had, except CANCELLATION, but they kept right on billing me $99 a month. They're crooks. Do not deal with them. And USABG is JUST AS BAD. They have a list of about 10 people that they claim are making millions, but it's always the same 10 people, and the 1-3 new salespeople they sign up every day NEVER move into the profitable range of business. I think the whole thing is a scam to get you to sign on with iBoomerang, then they've made $1200 off you without doing a thing. Dennis Patterson Trussville, Alabama

All those new people signed up do not understand what you said is exactly true. There motto is to just recruit and try find one golden egg inside the numbers.

This is a shady group in so many ways, they have the worst training, the worst support, and do not help agents succeed, they just make inflated promises of money to be made. The web is full of expired USABG websites from other people who believed the pure BS hype. The truth is that just a few agents make all the money, because they are insiders, or have other businesses that they use for the best leads. Every lead company they recommend is the worst is the business.

It is one scam after another, and many agents just give up after trying all of their techniques, with the same poor sales success. They make money on your success and failure.

No agent should ever join this organization. Do a Google search for USABG dot net and see how many non active agent websites there are out there of people who have fallen for this scam, and left with a $1200 contract.

Crooks -they will keep your money

I talked with some insurance agency that used iboomerang and then I decided not to work with this agency. They signed me up with iboomerang and said I had to call and make sure the account was not set up ,so I did.All this was the same day so I assumed it was taken care of.Now I find out the agreement was never terminated and they have been taking $99.00 from my account every month. They owe me about $500.00. I called them and explained this but the supervisor said she had no record of me calling she said I should contact my lawyer. I am going to file a complaint ,my bank is helping me as I had a stroke and I am not supposed to be in a lot of stress. I believe this company is crooked and I hope this is read by a lot of people. Take your money and run

When your contract is up, they keep billing and collecting. No notice and when you try to cancel they will still continue to charge the card. Then after five months when you finally reach someone at a managers level, they will refuse to settle on the 99.00 per month overcharges. You can not get out while under the year contract and you still can not get out after the contract expires until they have collected enough or you have yelled enough or you have been to an attorney. The service they offer is good the financial cost is a rip off; stay away!

IBoomerang is a fly by night company

I am an insurance agent who wanted to try to sell insurance online and after some online searching i came across iBoomerang. (they sell access to web tools that help you sell insurance online) I signed up for their 100 dollars a month package, and i eagerly got started. I noticed something real quick. Their web conferencing tool isn't even their tool, its another companies software. Their contact management tool doesn't even work it just stores the leads name..not their medical info or anything that id want to store. Thier email tool works...but doesnt work because all emails sent out from it get marked as spam by your leads email...so it goes straight to junk...I was fed up, i tried to cancel my service...they said i was stuck for 6 months...what a rip off!! Horrible experience..

Yeah what a bunch of ***. I got suckered into this thru USA Benefits Group.

I was told they would be a great mentor and that the year signup would be how I would get the most help. Same *** happened to me. All the emails go to spam and there are other shared screen programs that are free. Don't fall for this ***.

By the way, no insurance agent can receive commissions on any health insurance plan after Jan 1, 2014. Richard Banville is a liar and will do no mentoring. Once he signs you up and he gets a commission from Iboomerang and puts you on low commissions, then he is done with you and on the the next person he and his wife Jessica recruit. You'll heard plenty from Jessica Banville only until you sign up.

After that forget about it.

You just keep paying for something that you could get free elsewheres.

They suck. :cry

Since you are posting anonymously, I can't speak to why you were

unsuccessful. I'm sorry that was your experience and that you chose to express yourself in an anonymous, negative way.

As a recruiter, my job is to search for, and qualify, talent and pass those prospects on to a manager. I'm sorry you felt slighted that our communication did not continue once you came on board, but I'm easily reached if you ever had questions or wanted to talk! As for training and mentoring, this company has some industry leaders and the training is readily available, accessible, and thorough. People who embrace our business

model, engage in meetings and trainings, and follow the formula for success absolutely are successful.

You have to do your part; it's not magic. It's hard work, takes discipline and professionalism. Lucky for us, your prediction about no commissions in 2014 was way off.

:) The industry has increased drastically and we are part of a team of very successful agents. I encourage you to go direct to the source when you have bad feelings; you often will find a solution instead of adding to and living with the problem.

We have the best live, interactive, training in the industry done by multi-million dollar producers. I personally produced $1.3 million in my first year and have built a winning team of world-class agents and managers currently pacing $15 Million/year.

USABG has been in business for 25+ years and has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau with zero registered complaints because we take care of our agents and customers fairly and respectfully. I am sorry you weren't successful here but please do not blame me for your inability to follow a proven system that is working for hundreds of others.

They do not care -

Every time they sign you onto USABG and then Iboomerang he makes a percentage off you until you default. It's all about the money for them. There's several people who turn over in this business because they aren't exactly told what they are getting into.

You are hilarious. First off company is still around so fly by night (wrong).

Also, they sell multiple packages. You sign up for a 6 or 12 month contract and then complain that you want out by simply not paying. When you sign a contract you are responsible next time sign up for a month. Most people on here are complaining because they can't sell anything.

If they actually were a successful sales person then they would have realized why the tools are important and essential.

The company and it's 5 employees is going under, the only reason it's BARELY scraping by is because Doug Frankel co owns USABG. They do whatever they can to take people's money, and you do whatever you can to sell them the packages so you can make your % off of those people.

It's all a big pyramid scheme. End of Story.

I signed up with iBoomerang. It is a very lame program. I only wanted it for the power dialer feature which would have been an additional $50 per month.

When I stopped payment, I received an email that they were going to charge 30% fee, canceled my access to the program, and now I get a letter from an attorney suing me for $1300.

It is not right they continue to charge for services not rendered!
